You may be aware, from social media posts by the Trust last night, that there has been an incident involving scaffolding at the Hartshead North entrance to the hospital site.
We are pleased to update that both patients and staff can now access the hospital buildings again via Hartshead North entrance; however, the road outside is still closed and there is no access to the main car park via this route or buses operating along this route.
We hope to be in a position to fully reopen the area to vehicles later today.
We appreciate your understanding and we will provide a further update when it’s available.

We are pleased to inform you that access for patients, staff, visitors and vehicles at Hartshead North has now been reinstated.
Bus routes are also now running as normal.
