CARE Awards 2026

We are excited to launch the new CARE Awards, a joint annual celebration recognising the outstanding achievements of colleagues across both Stockport NHS FT and Tameside & Glossop IC NHS FT.

This year’s winners will be announced on Friday 23 October at the prestigious Midland Hotel in central Manchester.

Nominate a colleague or team now using the online form. Nominations will close on Friday 17 July at 4pm.

There are 10 award categories up for grabs. Make sure to check the criteria for the award category for more information on what the judges are looking for.

Together, let’s celebrate the compassion, accountability, respect and excellence that define our organisations.

Inspirational leader award

An individual with outstanding leadership skills who inspires people to go the extra mile. Good leaders are not necessarily managers. Judges will be looking for evidence of:

  • A commitment to professional development
  • A can-do attitude and the ability to get things done
  • Their impact at the Trust – at a team or wider level – how have they made improvements in their team or service and shown their potential

Great patient experience award

A team or individual that has made a significant impact upon improving the patient experience either for an individual patient, in their work area or for the Trust as a whole.
