Industrial action affecting bus services

Some bus services across Greater Manchester will be disrupted from Tuesday 30 September – Thursday 2 October, with staff at bus operator Metroline set to go ahead with planned strikes.

New service supports pelvic health in pregnancy and after birth

Patients who are pregnant or had a baby up to 12 months ago can self-refer to the new Perinatal Pelvic Health Service by filling in an online form, or by speaking to a midwife, health visitor, GP or consultant.

Tameside to Tanzania Kilimanjaro challenge complete

In August, consultant breast surgeon Mr Pardeep Arora and his team set out on the adventure of a lifetime: to climb Mount Kilimanjaro, Africa’s highest peak, in aid of the Breast Unit at Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS Foundation Trust.
