The Royal College of Nursing (RCN) has announced a strike from 7pm on Sunday 30 April to midnight on Monday 1 May.
Tameside and Glossop Integrated Care NHS FT has made necessary plans to maintain the safety, welfare and service of those in our care during the industrial action.
Unless advised otherwise, please continue to attend appointments and access services appropriately. You do not need to contact the Trust. For those whose appointments or care that may be impacted, you will be contacted directly by the service.
Our A&E department will remain open for genuine emergencies and life-threatening conditions. Wait times are expected to be longer than usual and patients will be seen in order of clinical need.
If it is not an emergency, please consider other options such as visiting a pharmacist, contacting your GP or visiting www.111.nhs.uk.
NHS 111 online can tell you:
• Where to get help for your symptoms, if you’re not sure what to do
